Yes — absolutely. At Bamboo Only, keeping our packaging plastic-free has been a priority from day one.
When creating our packaging, we looked at several options, including so-called eco-plastics. However, many of these materials only break down under very specific conditions that rarely exist in the real world. So we chose a simpler and more responsible solution — paper.
Our wraps are made from FSC-certified paper and printed with soy-based inks. Our cartons are made from recycled paper, and even our packaging tape is kraft paper based, not plastic.
All of our packaging is recyclable and compostable. Whenever possible, we also encourage customers to reuse the packaging first — because the most sustainable packaging is the one that gets used again.
